Job Description

The role of the Vice President of Revenue is to identify and maximize all potential revenue opportunities for assigned hotel(s), and provide strategic oversight of a larger portfolio. This role is directly involved with developing both long-term and short-term goals, and developing revenue strategies associated with mix of sales segmentation, e-commerce, and pricing in accordance with the Revenue Management SOPs, strategic plan and annual operating plan for the hotel. The individual in this role develops and coaches a team of Revenue professionals. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS :



  • Comply at all times with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage professional, safe and efficient operations. High school diploma or equivalent is required; typically requires a Bachelor's degree.

  • At least 10 years of revenue experience in a hotel or related field, with at least 6 years of direct management experience.

  • Certified in relevant Revenue Management Systems (e.g., Marriott OY2, Hilton GRO, Hyatt Prio).

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting and formulation.

  • Solid understanding of hotel operations and yield management philosophy.

  • Ability to work with and interpret financial data and perform basic arithmetic functions.

  • Ability to synthesize complex information from various sources and adapt strategies accordingly.

  • Use critical thinking to analyze demand, pace, and channel contributions, and communicate insights effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Approach all interactions with owners, guests, and staff in a friendly, objective, and service-oriented manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES :



  • Establish and guide the core values, vision, and long-term revenue strategy for Aimbridge Hospitality.

  • Develop strong relationships with brand partners to maximize contribution.

  • Guide weekly and monthly forecasts and annual budgets.

  • Lead owner financial reviews focusing on sales, revenue, and P&L; involvement may vary.

  • Maintain an effective revenue cycle process through cross-department collaboration.

  • Collaborate with Operations & Sales to align on revenue and profit goals.

  • Operate effectively within a large organization, pushing performance and accountability.

  • Master multiple brand systems, train staff, and conduct performance reviews.

  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, including Sarbanes Oxley.

  • Participate in owner and corporate meetings as requested.

  • Lead and motivate the revenue team to achieve results and foster a positive culture.

  • Identify opportunities for coaching and performance improvement.

  • Engage in professional development through industry organizations and events.
