Who You Are… The Export Operations Agent will play a pivotal role in the daily operation of Priority’s export department, including processing shipments. The candidate must possess proven experience in international air freight forwarding handling export files and a well-versed knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and classifications. The ideal candidate must also be willing to actively participate in continuing education of themselves, employees, and customers. As a Senior Export Operator your Daily Responsibilities include complete management of the export supply chain process for Priority Worldwide's freight forwarding clientele. Primary Job Responsibilities - Enter, prepare and book air export shipments.
- Monitor/handle export shipments with adherence to quality standards processing
- Ensure that shipments are setup in a timely fashion
- Ensure that all shipments have daily internal and client visible notes updates from time service is requested and file opened to POD
- Strong customer service skills which will help retain and develop new customers
- Liaison with international and domestic agents
- Provide and ensure constant compliance with Priority Worldwide’ s mission to ensure The Ultimate Customer Experience
Requirements - 5 years experience international freight forwarding-specific to Air Exports
- Strong Customer service skills
- Cargowise experience preferred
- ITAR experience preferred
What We Offer… Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. - Salary $50,000-$70,000 annually, depending on experience
