Key Responsibilities As a Bellman, you will be an essential part of the guest experience. Your main responsibility is to ensure a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure process while assisting guests throughout their stay.
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Assist guests with their luggage and escort them to their rooms.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests promptly and efficiently to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas.
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure seamless communication regarding guest needs.
- Support night audit operations as needed, ensuring accurate reporting of daily activities.
- Uphold hotel standards for customer service, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries.
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing any concerns or issues that arise during their stay.
What are we looking for? We are looking for a customer-focused, professional, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous experience in a hotel or resort is preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong customer service skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is advantageous.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work 8-hour shifts (morning, evening, and night shifts available), weekends and holidays required.
- Work Location: Miami South Beach, FL.
