About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer to lead the technology strategy and product delivery for its Ancillary and Individual business, with a focus on improving health outcomes and advancing global health equity. The successful candidate will be responsible for connecting technology with the business and user needs, driving operational efficiency, and leading a high-performing engineering team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leveraging technology to meet business objectives, a history of effective relationships with cSuite leaders, and the ability to manage a large global technology team. The CIO will also be accountable for software engineering and delivery, recommending technology solutions to grow the business, and ensuring the technology footprint is aligned with enterprise assets. Applicants must have at least 15 years' of leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years' in healthcare or insurance product development, and a background in specialty benefits is preferred. The role demands a leader with a customer-first mindset, a history of executing with excellence, and a leadership style that fosters innovation and transparent communication. The CIO will be expected to simplify the technology landscape, lead through influence in a matrixed environment, and manage a significant budget. Experience in cloud migration, system integration, and a strong technical background are essential.
