Recruiting @ Aquent We are seeking an experienced Creative Project Manager with exceptional deliverable management skills, workback tracking expertise, plus PowerPoint and design experience to support a Creative Director. This role requires the ability to work both in Excel and develop compelling, strategic slide presentations that articulate the client’s creative vision and strategy. We seek individuals capable of managing high-volume, high-impact creative initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role sits at the intersection of project management, production management, and cross-functional team coordination. You will play a critical role in transforming innovative ideas into scalable deliverables that advance our events business. You will support the team creating top-tier events, activations, designs, and experiences for our flagship AI Tour event, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate remains calm under pressure, thrives in ambiguity, and excels at translating complex processes into actionable plans. They can craft compelling executive decks to secure buy-in and alignment from leadership. Responsibilities Support the Creative Director in design goals, milestones, and deliverables. Lead workback schedules for multiple event-related projects from inception to delivery. Define, track, and report on the execution of multiple design projects with numerous deliverables. Develop and improve processes to enhance efficiency and visibility for cross-functional teams. Coordinate between project leads, keeping all stakeholders updated and on track. Communicate project status and details to creatives, designers, directors, producers, vendors, and leadership. Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies through daily communication. Evaluate project and event status regularly with the Creative Director. Coordinate schedules, standardize timelines, and prepare briefs for projects under the Creative Director’s guidance. Create and deliver strategic, polished executive presentations communicating project goals and progress. Navigate shifting priorities with resilience and clarity in a high-velocity environment. Anticipate and resolve blockers proactively, seeking process improvements. Advocate for creative excellence while balancing brand, business, and operational needs. Perform other duties as assigned by the Creative Director. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience in creative project management, preferably in a fast-paced agency environment, managing event and digital marketing deliverables. Extensive proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills, self-starter attitude, excellent communication, and proactive planning abilities. Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment through exceptional time management. Skill in resolving process issues and preventing recurring problems. Comfortable handling ambiguity and solving problems quickly and effectively. Excellent interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and resolve conflicts. High enthusiasm, ingenuity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, and results-driven mindset. Positive, team-oriented attitude. Nice to Have: Agency experience or familiarity with internal and external creative teams. Passion for branding, design, storytelling, and creative resonance.
