Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research and Product Development Specialist with a strong background in chemistry or chemical engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be primarily focused on formulating innovative and effective cosmetics and household cleaning products for the consumer market. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a keen understanding of market trends to develop products that meet consumer needs and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulation Development:
• Optimize existing product formulations for performance, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Product Testing and Evaluation:
• Conduct stability testing and performance evaluations on new and existing products.
• Analyze product performance data and make recommendations for improvements.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all formulations meet relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for regulatory submissions and product registrations.
• Innovation and Research:
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging ingredients.
• Propose and implement innovative ideas for new products and formulation improvements.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in formulation development, preferably in cosmetics and/or household cleaning products.
• Demonstrated experience in a lab environment, conducting experiments, and analyzing data.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic and cleaning product ingredients, including their chemical properties and interactions.
• Proficiency in using formulation software and laboratory equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with natural and sustainable ingredients.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for cosmetics and household cleaning products in various markets.
