**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated Revenue Manager to oversee all aspects of Revenue Management for our portfolio of hotels across the country. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing hotel profitability through various revenue streams. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, managing, and maintaining both group and transient inventories to ensure a balanced approach to demand and availability.
As a Revenue Manager, you will collaborate with property leadership to evaluate, strategize, and implement procedures aimed at increasing revenue and overall profitability. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and overseeing revenue management strategies for hotels, identifying opportunities for improvement, and creating strategies to enhance performance.
- Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
- Participating in weekly calls with hotel teams to evaluate performance, analyze rate strategies, and adjust as necessary.
- Providing weekly recaps of calls to property and regional leadership.
- Monitoring competitive pricing and strategies, proactively recommending changes to property strategies.
- Managing daily rates and restrictions to optimize revenue opportunities.
- Partnering with hotel teams and stakeholders to develop annual revenue budgets.
- Ensuring all company and brand revenue and reservation systems are current and fully optimized.
- Conducting market research to understand historical and future performance, as well as the competitive landscape and economic development in areas surrounding our hotels.
- Evaluating market share reports to identify trends and opportunities, ensuring targeted occupancy and ADR positioning are achieved.
- Analyzing competitive amenities and providing recommendations to gain a market advantage.
- Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to assess OTA strategies and their impact on occupancy and revenue.
- Assisting property teams with forecasts and budgets, leading the continuous improvement of the forecasting process.
- Training property leadership on key revenue and yield management areas, ensuring adherence to operational standards for successful revenue maximization.
- Upholding business ethics and personal integrity by adhering to all standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
**Requirements:**
- Willingness to travel to various hotels, with occasional overnight stays.
- Ability to use a computer for extended periods, whether seated or standing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships virtually and conduct effective remote meetings.
**Qualifications:**
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
