Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
As part of Kuiper's Inventory and Fulfillment Technology (IFT) team, you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global inventory accounting capabilities. You will be responsible for developing an impactful inventory accounting product suite that meets Kuiper's global expansion plan. This requires exceptional foresight to design future-proof integration patterns that can evolve with both business needs and regulatory requirements while minimizing changes to business systems. The ideal candidate for this role has strong business and product sense combined with a solid understanding of financial and accounting concepts. You will need to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment without being hindered by ambiguity. You will work with multiple engineering teams across organizations and partner with our customers across Tax, Accounting, Finance Operations, and others to define product vision, roadmap, detail product requirements and testing plan. You will drive difficult trade-off decisions and communicate the solutions clearly to stakeholders across tech and business organizations to help them understand decisions and options. You will need to dive deep with the development team and challenge the design as needed to drive technical trade-off decisions. High judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent, exceptional communications, the ability to partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders and leadership are essential to success in this role. Key job responsibilities- 7+ years in supply chain, product/program management, marketing, business development, or technology, with a track record of leading large-scale projects.
- 7+ years combining supply chain, product, and program management, driving strategic initiatives for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Proven ability in building product roadmaps, overseeing end-to-end product delivery, and managing product lifecycles while balancing requirements, user needs, and technical constraints.
- Proven cross-functional communication skills to leverage tech and non-tech requirements to support business needs.
- Experience managing large scale, successful projects
- Experience in both US and global operations
- Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial and fast paced culture
- Great analytic and communication skills
